There's a particular irritation in being asked whether you're alright, when you're perfectly alright. In catching yourself in a shop window and thinking, who is that? In looking tired in a meeting when you feel anything but. Sensational Eyes is a five-minute under-eye treatment for every day - and especially the days that matter.
Warm a small drop between your fingertips and dab a very thin layer over the area. Then stay still — around five minutes, like waiting for nail varnish. A fine, flexible veil forms across the surface of the skin and draws it gently taut. Fine lines soften. The under-eye area looks smoother and firmer. The shadow everyone reads as tired lifts.
It holds for up to eight hours — a working day, or an evening out. Then it comes away with your usual cleanser.
Two things are happening. You only see one.
The visible half is mineral. Magnesium aluminium silicate and sodium silicate set into a micro-fine film as the water evaporates, physically smoothing the surface of the skin. That's your five minutes. It's cosmetic, and it washes off — which is exactly what it's meant to do.
The half you won't notice today is Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, better known as Argireline: a well-studied peptide used in anti-ageing skincare for its effect on the look of expression lines. It stays behind after the film has gone, and it rewards regular use rather than one application.

Ingredients
The Formula explained:
Magnesium Aluminium Silicate and Sodium Silicate — the mineral pair that does the visible work. As the water evaporates they form an ultra-fine, flexible film across the surface of the skin, drawing it gently taut.
This is the five minutes.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 — better known as Argireline. A well-researched peptide used in anti-ageing skincare for its effect on the appearance of expression lines. Unlike the film, it isn't doing anything you can see
today; it's the part that rewards regular use.
Propylene Glycol — a humectant (it helps reduce loss of moisture), carrying the actives and keeping the
film flexible rather than brittle, so your face still moves normally.
Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin and Caprylyl Glycol — the preservative system. Every water-based cosmetic needs one; this is a widely used, paraben-free combination.
CI 16035 — a cosmetic colourant, present in a very small amount to tint the formula.

How to use
Apply before make-up. Use a small drop and rub between your fingers to make it easier to apply. Gently dab a very thin layer on the area you'd like to treat, avoiding excessive rubbing. Stay motionless for five minutes while the cream is drying — fanning may help give a better result. Full instructions are in the leaflet enclosed with your tube.

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, and a further
14 days to send it back to us. We go further than that: we'll accept unopened returns for 30 days from delivery.
Email info@sensationaleyes.co.uk before sending anything back and we'll confirm the return address. Once your return reaches us, or you send us proof of postage, whichever comes first, we'll refund you within 7 days, to the payment method you used.
Once the seal on the box is opened: for health and hygiene reasons we can't accept a return once the seal on the box is opened. This is the sealed-goods exemption under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Return postage: changed your mind? No problem - you'll just need to cover the cost of return postage.

Wrinkle depth was measured using PRIMOS, a 3D optical skin-topography device, at baseline, five minutes after application and eight hours after application. No irritation or allergic reaction was recorded in any subject.

No cases of irritation or allergic reaction were recorded across any of the ten subjects. The supervising dermatologist concluded the product was very well tolerated, with no high potential for irritation when used as intended.

I've tried a few of these eye creams to varying levels of success but this is by far the best. Easy to apply, works in a few minutes and lasts for hours. Gently tightens the skin below the eye quickly improving bags and dark circles but doesn't feel super tight as some other products can do and looks totally natural. Great value compared to other similar creams. Will definitely buy again.
This is amazing cream. i used the ( my perfect eyes one ) and it's awful beautiful your not allowed to wear any eye cream under its treatment so it dries out the delicate skin much worse. When i came across sensational eyes i was beyond happy because you HAVE to wear a eye cream beneath its treatment so that it won't dry the area out. it hides eyes that haven't had much sleep brilliantly and the best thing is ITS VEGAN 🌱

I used this product for a few years now. I have paid more money for other supposedly great creams & none of them were much good. Effects last for hours & works fine as long as you don't put too much on & just dab gently under eyes.
This is the only eye cream I found that does what it says, it's amazing really does work. Great for nights out to erase lines and wrinkles, makes you look great too.

Using it
How quickly does it work, and how long does it last?
The film sets in around five minutes. The smoothing effect holds for up to eight hours - a working day, or an evening out - then comes away with your usual cleanser.
How much should I use?
Less than feels right. A pea sized drop, warmed between the fingertips and dabbed on thinly. This is the single thing that separates people who love it from people who don't, so it's worth practising once on an ordinary day rather than the morning of something important. As a guide use a pea-sized amounts for fine lines, around 1 ½ pea-sized amount for visible wrinkles & up to 2 pea sized amounts for deeper wrinkles.
Why do I need to stay still after applying?
The film needs to dry undisturbed to set properly. Moving the area while it dries stops it forming evenly. Fanning speeds it up.
Why am I getting a white residue?
You've used slightly too much and the excess has dried on the surface instead of disappearing into the film. Wipe it away and use less next time. The opposite is worth knowing too - if not much seems to happen, you've probably used too little. It takes a couple of goes to find your amount.
How does it fit into my routine?
Sensational Eyes goes on after your moisturiser, give that a minute to absorb first, so the skin is comfortable rather than damp or greasy. Let it set completely, the full five minutes, then carry on as normal: SPF, primer, concealer and foundation all go on top. Pat rather than sweep when you're layering. The one thing to watch is oil. Oil-based products break the film down, before or after, so keep to oil-free formulas around the eye area. Most people find they need noticeably less concealer than they used to anyway, because there's less to cover.
How often can I use it?
As often as you like, including every day. Most people buy it for one particular occasion and then find it becomes part of the morning routine. Worth knowing that a tube should be used within six months of opening - so if you're only reaching for it a few times a year, you'll be throwing most of it away.
How do I take it off?
Warm water and your usual cleanser. It's a water-based film, so it lifts away easily - no special remover needed.
How it feels
What does it actually feel like?
A light tightening as it sets and a sense of the skin being gently held. That's the film doing its job. Most people stop noticing within the hour. Some people never quite get used to it - and if that turns out to be you, this isn't your product, and we'd rather you knew before buying.
Will it crack or flake when I smile?
Not once it's properly set. The film is flexible - you can smile, blink, talk and eat normally. Cracking is almost always a sign the area was moved before it finished drying, or that too much went on.
Will my skin look worse when it wears off?
No. There's no rebound effect. Once it's washed off, your skin looks exactly as it did before.
What it will and won't do
Will it work on deep wrinkles or heavy bags?
It softens them rather than erasing them. With deep-set lines or pronounced bags you'll see a real difference, but it won't take them away entirely - nothing in a tube will. The advantage is that you'll know within five minutes how well it works for you, instead of four weeks.
Will it help with dark circles?
Partly. It won't change pigment - it isn't a concealer. But a good deal of what reads as a dark circle is shadow cast by puffiness and flattening that does visibly lighten the area for many people.
Can men use it?
Yes, and it tends to suit men particularly well. It takes five minutes and nothing about it announces itself.

It works on the surface of the skin and doesn't interact with anything beneath it. If you've had a procedure recently, check with whoever carried it out before applying anything to the area.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The formula is dermatologically tested and contains no harsh ingredients. As with any new product, patch-test first if you have known sensitivities.
